Juan Uribe's two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning gave the Los Angeles Dodgers a 4-3 lead over the Atlanta Braves in Game 4 of the National League Division Series on Monday.
MLB playoffs, Braves vs. Dodgers score update: Juan Uribe’s home run gives Los Angeles a 4-3 lead
Juan Uribe couldn’t lay down a bunt, but he could give his team the lead with a massive home run.

Uribe came to the plate after Yasiel Puig led off the inning with a double down the right field line. After twice failing to get a bunt down, the veteran third baseman crushed a 2-2 slider from Atlanta reliever David Carpenter over the wall in left.
Uribe's big hit, for now at least, nullified a clutch knock from a Braves reserve. Jose Constanza was tabbed to pinch-hit for starting pitcher Freddy Garcia, who made it through six innings while allowing two runs on a pair of Carl Crawford home runs. Constanza worked the count to 2-1 before lining a 95-mph sinker from Dodgers reliever Ronald Belisario into left field to plate Elliot Johnson, who picked up his first hit of the series on a one-out triple.
J.P. Howell took over for Belisario after Constanza's go-ahead hit and worked around a walk to Justin Upton to get the final two outs of the seventh inning.
Braves reliever Luis Avilan had his own issues in the seventh but got Adrian Gonzalez to fly out to right field with two on and two outs.
Johnson had a chance to do additional damage in the eighth after Dodgers reliever Brian Wilson allowed a pair of singles with two outs, but the veteran utility man flied out weakly to center to end the threat.
