The two remaining undefeated squads of Pool A, Japan and Cuba, face off to determine the top seed for Round 2. Two-time defending champs Japan, who have looked a bit shaky in their first two victories, will look to shut down a potent Cuba offense that has scored 17 runs in its first two matchups. Both teams have already qualified for the next round.
