Mariners’ fielding fail in ninth leads to Indians’ win

The Indians were one out away from losing to the Mariners in Cleveland, but the Mariners love afternoon baseball so much they decided to extend the game instead. What wonderful guests!

would strike in the top-half of the 10th to go up 8-7, but then Charlie Furbush gave up a walk-off homer to Yan Gomes to give Cleveland the win.

The universe has spoken, and the Mariners will not win today.
