Bees invade Royals’ dugout

Bzzzzzzzzzzzz

Ryan Pierse

One of the perils of outdoor sports is that they are occasionally subject to nature. While it's usually weather related, sometimes animals or insects get their turn, too. On Sunday in Kansas City, bees invaded the Royals' dugout at Kauffman Stadium, and had to be cleared out before the game started. They don't allow you to have bees in there, you know.

You know how inconsistent MLB.com video embedding is, so we’ll just leave you with this zoom on the bees in the dugout. Listen to a dramatic sting while you watch this on loop or something. Get it? Sting. You know, because they are bees.
