In Monday night's Rays-Red Sox game, Matt Joyce got on John Lackey's bad side. Lackey responded by drilling him in the ribs with a fastball, and that did not make Mr. Joyce particularly happy. Joyce displayed his annoyance with Lackey, and then the benches cleared.
