The Rockies could place shortstop Troy Tulowitzki on the disabled list with a broken rib, reports Troy Renck of the Denver Post.
Troy Tulowitzki injury: Rockies SS could hit DL with broken rib, per report
Troy Tulowitzki broke his rib during Thursday night’s game, and could see the DL as a result.

Nothing official has been announced yet, but an injury of this severity would likely land him on the DL under the best of circumstances.
Tulowitzki was injured in the eighth inning of the Rockies' 5-4 loss to the Nationals on Thursday. He was fielding a ground ball to his left, and was unable to throw the ball after bringing it in.
The Rockies will miss Tulowitzki’s production in the middle of their order, as the 28-year-old is batting .347 this season along with 16 home runs, all while playing excellent shortstop defense.
Tulowitzki was limited to just 47 games in 2012 as he dealt with injuries, but came back this season on top of his game. In his peak years, it is concerning to see him continue to deal with health issues.
