Nationals 5, Rockies 1: Roy Oswalt was magnificent in this one, striking out 11 Nationals, but he did not get the win. Ian Desmond hit a home run and Jordan Zimmermann was dominant for eight innings, striking out nine.
Rays 8, Yankees 3: Evan Longoria hit two home runs and the Rays got a solid 6⅓ inning performance from Matt Moore.
Tigers 4, Red Sox 3: Jhonny Peralta hit a walk-off home run off of the ineffective Andrew Bailey in this one, and he lost his closer job as a result.
Mets 4, Braves 3: David Wright had two homers and the Mets took three out of five.
Cardinals 6, Cubs 1: Matt Holliday hit a home run and Lance Lynn allowed one run over six innings as the Cardinals cruised to yet another win.
Marlins 2, Giants 1: The Marlins stole this one from the Giants in the eighth inning with a two-out, two-run single from pinch hitter Marcell Ozuna.
Dodgers 3, Padres 6: Yasiel Puig blasted his sixth homer of the season in the first inning, but finished the game going 1-for-5 with three strikeouts, the last of which ended the game. Pedro Ciriaco had three RBIs on a triple and a home run for San Diego.
Mariners 9, Angels 10: It was an absolute slugfest at the Big A. Seattle jumped out to a 7-0 lead by the third inning, but the Halos kept chipping away. A five-run fifth inning was the crucial one for the Angels, as Peter Bourjos and Mark Trumbo both hit home runs in the frame.
