Here’s a look at Saturday’s wild MLB games:
Around the Bases: Saturday scores and highlights
Saturday featured three walk-off victories, including a game where both closers blew a save. Meanwhile, Detroit starter Max Scherzer won again to improve to 11-0, and K-Rod picked up his 300th save.

Rockies 7, Nationals 1: Dan Haren continued to struggle, surrendering six runs on seven hits in 3⅓ innings pitched. Corey Dickerson hit two doubles in his MLB debut, while Nolan Arenado and DJ LeMahieu each cracked solo home runs.
Blue Jays 4, Orioles 2: Jose Bautista hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning, powering the Blue Jays to their 10th consecutive victory. Bautista chirped at Darren O`Day rounding the bases; O`Day said something to Bautista on Friday after fanning the outfielder to end the seventh inning.
Astros 4, Cubs 3: Ronny Cedeno laid down a squeeze bunt in the top of the ninth inning, driving in Justin Maxwell to score the go-ahead run. Bud Norris allowed three runs in six innings for Houston, and has thrown a quality start in six of his last seven games.
White Sox 3, Royals 2: Alejandro De Aza hit a sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning, driving in Jordan Danks from third base to give the White Sox the victory. The Royals have only scored 17 runs in eight games against Chicago this season.
Yankees 7, Rays 5: Vernon Wells hit a three-run double in the seventh inning, capping a four-run rally for the Yankees. Wil Myers (with maybe a little help) hit his first major-league home run, a grand slam off CC Sabathia in the top of the sixth inning.
Phillies 8, Mets 7: Ryan Howard hit two home runs, then Kevin Frandsen went deep bottom of the ninth inning for the pinch-hit, walk-off blast, while Jonathan Papelbon blew his third save of the season, allowing two runs in the top of the ninth inning.
Brewers 2, Braves 0: Donovan Hand, making his first major-league start, combined with four Milwaukee relievers to shut out Atlanta. Aramis Ramirez and Juan Francisco both hit RBI singles for the Brewers. Francisco Rodriguez picked up his 300th save.
Tigers 10, Red Sox 3: Max Scherzer only allowed two runs over seven innings, striking out six Boston hitters to improve to 11-0. That's the longest win streak to open the season in Tigers history and the longest since Roger Clemens started 1997 11-0 (he lost his next start that year but started 1986 14-0). Detroit DH Victor Martinez hit a first-inning grand slam off Allen Webster, who saw his ERA balloon to 11.25.
Giants 2, Marlins 1 (11 inn.): Hector Sanchez blooped a walk-off single in the 11th, driving in Gregor Blanco to snap the Giants' nine-game home losing streak to the Marlins. Barry Zito only surrendered one run over seven innings just three days his father passed away.
Dodgers 6, Padres 1: Zack Greinke tossed a gem, only allowing one run on four hits over eight innings while striking out eight (one of them Carlos Quentin). Adrian Gonzalez and Hanley Ramirez both smacked solo home runs for the Dodgers.
Rangers 4, Cardinals 2: A.J. Pierzynski and Nelson Cruz both hit two-run homers off Shelby Miller to give the Rangers their second consecutive victory over the Cardinals. Martin Perez tossed seven innings to earn his first win of the season, while Joe Nathan threw a perfect ninth to record his 24th save of the year.
Diamondbacks 4, Reds 3: Jason Kubel hit a walk-off single in the ninth inning and Aroldis Chapman blew his third save of the season.
Chapman only had the chance to earn the save because Heath Bell also blew his third save of the year on a Jay Bruce two-run homer. Bruce hit a solo home run earlier in the game, and has been on fire lately:
How about 7 Jay Bruce!?! That makes all 7 of his last hits home runs. Last Reds player w/7 straight hits as HRs, Adam Dunn ('03).

Indians 8, Twins 7: Jason Kipnis finished a home run shy of the cycle, scoring one run and driving in two. Vinnie Pestano surrendered two runs in the ninth inning, but held on for his third save of the season.
Pirates 6, Angels 1: Pedro Alvarez, Andrew McCutchen and Gaby Sanchez all hit home runs for Pittsburgh. Francisco Liriano only allowed one run over 6⅔ innings, and is now 6-3 on the year with a 2.30 ERA.
Mariners 7, Athletics 5: Nick Franklin knocked in a pair of runs in the bottom of the eighth, breaking the tie and giving Seattle the eventual victory. Franklin Gutierrez and Raul Ibanez both homered for the M's. Jed Lowrie and Eric Sogaard both had three hits for the A's.
