Adam Dunn hit home run No. 426 of his career on Sunday in the Chicago White Sox 7-6 loss to the Kansas City Royals. That home run tied Dunn with Billy Williams for 46th place on MLB's all-time home run chart.
Adam Dunn moving up the all-time home run list
Dunn is now tied for 46th all-time in MLB home runs.

Dunn hit his home run in the top of the third inning off Royals ace James Shieds. Shields threw a 2-1 changeup low and away, but Dunn extended his arms and muscled the ball to dead center for homer No. 20 on the season.
The left-handed hitter has battled his usual contact issues, hitting .193/.293/.458. Dunn has also seen his BB% drop this season, something he will need to improve upon if he wants to remain an above-average offensive threat.
The slugger is showing signs of heating up at the plate, as he has hit seven home runs in his past 14 games. Dunn is on pace to hit 40-plus homers in 2013, a feat he has accomplished six times previously.
