Yasiel Puig originally came to the majors because injuries in the Dodgers' outfield forced him there. With the way he's hitting and fielding, though, he might never leave even when those injuries have healed. After 20 games, he's hitting .442/.476/.753 with seven homers, three doubles, and even two steals for good measure. On Monday, he nearly brought his Dodgers to victory by himself.
Yasiel Puig basically wins Dodgers game by himself
As much as a position player can win a team game by themselves, anyway.

On a night where the Dodgers scored just three runs against the rival Giants, Puig drove in two of them, including the go-ahead run in the eighth inning, and scored a run himself thanks to a homer in the first.
Madison Bumgarner, a lefty, tries to pitch Puig away to limit the damage, but Puig shows off his ability to go with the ball with power, rather than attempting to pull it.
In addition to the first-inning homer, Puig made a running catch to rob a hit and hit a pair of singles, including the aforementioned game winner. You can see all of this -- and hey, listen to Vin Scully call all of it -- in the video below.
