Brian Roberts will return to the Orioles' line-up Friday against the Yankees, reports Roch Kubatko of MASN.
Brian Roberts injury: Orioles 2B to be activated from DL Friday vs. Yankees
Roberts will immediately return to the Orioles line-up after missing 77 games with a hamstring injury.

Roberts will be the everyday second baseman for Baltimore, per the report. The Orioles had been using a combination of Ryan Flaherty (47 starts at second base) and Alexi Casilla (21 starts) in Roberts' absence.
Roberts has struggled with an array of injuries in the past, and he has been out since April with a hamstring injury that required surgery.
The 35-year-old second baseman has a .280 career batting average, and has been one of the better second basemen in the league when healthy. Unfortunately, he has not been able to play in more than 59 games in one season since 2009. Since the beginning of the 2010 campaign, Roberts has played in a total of 118 games.
For an Orioles team that could use an extra push in the ultra-competitive American League East, a healthy Roberts could play a huge role for them as they look to usurp the Red Sox.
Roberts has played in just three games in 2013, and is 5-for-12 (.417) at the plate.
