The Cincinnati Reds will place starting pitcher Johnny Cueto on the disabled list for the third time this season, the team announced on Saturday.
Johnny Cueto injury: Reds RHP placed on DL
The starter is heading to the DL for the third time this season.

Cueto exited his start on Friday night against the Texas Rangers with a strained lat muscle. The right lat has sent Cueto to the disabled list all three times in 2013, and also bothered the starter in 2011, per Matt Snyder of CBS Sports.
The right-hander has only made nine starts this season, but has pitched well when healthy, as he is 4-2 with a 3.33 ERA. Cueto, however, was removed from last night's start after only five batters, and had surrendered seven runs in his previous start against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Tony Cingrani will replace Cueto in the rotation. The southpaw received his original promotion to the team when Cueto went on the disabled list for the first time, and has shuttled between the rotation and the bullpen since. Cingrani has a 3.45 ERA in 12 appearances, including 7 starts.
The Reds promoted Logan Ondrusek to replace Cueto on the 25-man roster. The right-hander has made 22 appearances out of the bullpen for Cincinnati this season, and owns a 5.64 ERA.
