Toronto has lost yet another pitcher to injury, but is getting one back as well.

More Jays: Storey Sent Back to Buffalo
Johnson, who has been sidelined since April 22 with a triceps strain, will finally get back to the mound Tuesday night against the Giants. Johnson experienced several setbacks in his recovery, and got knocked around handily in his two rehab starts, but Toronto feels that he's ready to go. Davis, who has been out with an oblique strain, will likely return to his role as the Jays' fourth outfielder.
Ortiz, 40, may have thrown his final big-league pitch during his start on Sunday. The veteran right-hander doubled over in pain during the third inning of his start against the Padres, and was visibly upset as he left the field, seemingly coming to terms with the fact that his 12-year MLB career may be at an end. It's unknown at this time whether the elbow strain means an operation is in his near future, but it's a definite possibility.
Ortiz, who hadn’t started more than two big-league games in a season since 2007, made four starts for the Blue Jays this season, posting a 6.04 ERA in 25⅓ innings.
