MLB Draft 2013 results: 3B Eric Jagielo selected by Yankees with the No. 26 pick
The Yankees selected 3B Eric Jagielo with the No. 26 pick in the 2013 MLB Draft. Jagielo can hit, but where will he end up in the field?

Known for his polished play, Jagielo hit .388 with nine home runs in 196 at-bats in his junior year at Notre Dame. He is considered a safe pick who should be able to move quickly through the minor leagues on the strength of his bat. With solid power and hit tools, Jagielo should provide good value at the plate.
The biggest question mark pertaining to Jagielo, according to Minor League Ball’s John Sickels, is whether his glove will allow him to stay at third base or eventually force him to move across the infield, where the offensive expectations are much higher. “Scouts seem more comfortable with his glove now, but [teams] could still slot him at first base and he’ll have the bat for the position,” Sickels wrote.
