Major League Baseball released the latest American League All-Star balloting figures on Saturday during FOX’s Baseball Night in America pre-game show.
AL All-Star voting: J.J. Hardy takes lead over Elvis Andrus at SS
The Orioles have three players currently projected to start in the All-Star game.


The starting lineup has remained relatively stable since MLB first announced the results last week. Detroit Tigers third baseman Miguel Cabrera still leads all vote-getters with 2,355,128 votes. Baltimore Orioles third baseman Manny Machado has received the second-most votes at third, but Machado is a distant second with 1,170,108 votes.
J.J. Hardy passed Elvis Andrus at shortstop, marking the only change in the lineup. The two players remain close in the standings; Hardy has totaled 1,231,843 votes, while Andrus has received 1,045,885.
Orioles first baseman Chris Davis (2,084,274) and New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano (1,851,371) round out the infield leaders for the American League. Joe Mauer leads AL catchers with 1,492,396 votes, while David Ortiz has the most DH votes with 1,716,410.
Baltimore outfielder Adam Jones (1,944,450) passed Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (1,939,486 ) as the leading vote-getter in the outfield, but both are still projected to start in the All-Star game. Detroit's Torii Hunter rounds out the outfield with 1,067,973 votes, although Nick Markakis (1,030,653), Jose Bautista (1,021,813) and Nelson Cruz (1,011,198) are all within striking distance of Hunter.
