The Diamondbacks will reportedly go to a closer by committee, according to Jack Magruder of Fox Sports Arizona.
Diamondbacks going to closer by committee
It can’t be worse than Heath Bell.

The move comes as a response to another blown save by embattled former-closer Heath Bell, who has struggled for the majority of the 2013 season. The team will use relievers based on the match-ups and situation until the All-Star Break, which they will presumably make a long-term decision afterwards.
Bell, 35, has an ERA of 4.72 over 34 1/3 innings pitched during the 2013 season. He has struggled much of the past few seasons, and has been unable to rediscover his once-stellar form.
Some of their more appealing options include right-handers David Hernandez and Brad Ziegler, but they may be hesitant to play around with bullpen roles too much this close to the All-Star Break.
