Many of the top prospects in baseball will take the field Sunday afternoon in the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game. The game will pit a squad of players from the United States against a team of players from around the world. The U.S leads the overall series 8-6.
MLB Futures Game 2013: Starting lineups, scheduled pitchers
A pair of Mets pitching prospects will start at Citi Field in the Futures Game.

The game features 13 first-round draft picks, seven players from the Compensation A Round and four second-round draft choices. The World team features players from 10 different countries and territories. The Dominican Republic leads in representation with 12 players, followed by four players from Puerto Rico and two from Venezuela. Aruba, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Panama and South Korea are each represented by one player on the World team.
New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard will start for the U.S. team. The Mets recently promoted the right-hander to Double-A, where he has a 1.35 ERA after four starts.
Nine other pitchers are scheduled to throw after Syndergaard. The scheduled pitchers and their parent organizations are listed below:

Cincinnati Reds outfielder Billy Hamilton will lead-off for the U.S. team. Hamilton, playing in his second consecutive Futures Game, stole a professional record 155 bases last season between High-A and Double-A. The outfielder has swiped 51 bases in Triple-A this year. Rafael Montero, also in the Mets organization, will start the game for the World team. New York promoted Montero to Triple-A this season after he went 7-3 with a 2.43 ERA at Double-A. Eight other pitchers will throw for the World team after Montero:

Baseball America's No. 3 rated prospect, Miguel Sano, will hit cleanup for the World team. Sano has plus-plus power potential; he has blasted 22 home runs between High-A and Double-A this season. Below is the starting order for the World team:
