Mets outfielder Jordany Valdespin allegedly had some not-so-nice words for manager Terry Collins after finding out that he was being demoted to Triple-A.

Valdespin has been a lightning rod for criticism with the Mets, as the 25-year-old caused a stir with some excessive showboating during a home run trot earlier this season. Valdespin has also been photographed wearing Miami Marlins gear, a division rival of New York.
It's unclear at this time what kind of disciplinary action will be taken against Valdespin, but the Mets would not be missing much if they decided to release the outfielder. Valdespin has a hitting line of just .188/.250/.316 with four home runs and 16 RBI this season. He has not recorded a hit since June 22 against the Philadelphia Phillies.
