The Home Run Derby can be a hard contest to predict, but that didn’t stop people from trying anyway. Bovada Official posted their odds on who will win, and the favorites come as no surprise.
2013 Home Run Derby: The odds are placed
I’m not a betting man, but here is information for betting men.

2013 Home Run Derby - Odds to Win
Chris Davis (BAL) 11/4
Prince Fielder (DET) 15/4
Yoenis Cespedes (OAK) 11/2
Bryce Harper (WSH) 11/2
Pedro Alvarez (PIT) 11/2
Robinson Cano (NYY) 6/1
David Wright (NYM) 9/1
Michael Cuddyer (COL) 12/1
The favorites are the current-MLB leader in home runs in Chris Davis, and the defending champion of the Home Run Derby in Prince Fielder. The guy who is most likely to put on a Josh Hamilton 2008-like show is Bryce Harper, but the odds are apparently not as much in his favor as one would think.
The two hometown players, Cano and Wright, are near the bottom of the odds despite the fact that both have done well in past derbies. The odd choice, Michael Cuddyer, is given the lowest chances of winning, and no one is particularly surprised at that.
What's important to remember with the Home Run Derby though is that it has been a tough event to predict in past years, with people such as Bobby Abreu and Justin Morneau doing well, despite low-HR totals.
