Cincinnati Reds hurler Homer Bailey no-hit the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday night in a 3-0 victory at Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Homer Bailey throws no-hitter against the Giants
Homer Bailey no-hit the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday after accomplishing the same feat against the Pittsburgh Pirates last September.

Bailey retired Brandon Crawford, Tony Abreu and Gregor Blanco to finish off his second no-hitter in the past calendar year. By accomplishing the feat, Bailey became the first pitcher in baseball to be responsible for the game's past two no-hitters since Nolan Ryan in 1975. Bailey also no-hit the Pittsburgh Pirates on September 28, 2012.
Bailey had a perfect game through six innings but surrendered a walk to Blanco to start the seventh. That ensured the Giants would not have a perfect game thrown against them for the first time in franchise history. Instead, they were no-hit for the first time since April 27, 2003, when Kevin Millwood of the Philadelphia Phillies kept the Giants out of the "H"-column.
Bailey struck out nine batters and allowed just one walk.
