Detroit Tigers third baseman Miguel Cabrera left early on Monday night against the Chicago White Sox with an apparent injury, reports Doug Padilla of ESPNChicago.com.
Miguel Cabrera injury: Tigers star leaves game vs. White Sox
The All-Star third baseman appeared to injure his side rounding third base after a Victor Martinez single.

Cabrera appeared to injure his left side in the top half of the fifth inning, according to the Detroit Free Press. The slugger was on second with two outs when Victor Martinez hit a RBI-single. Cabrera seemed to injure his side rounding third base on the single, but did score on the play.
The third baseman stayed in the game during the bottom half of the fifth inning. Adam Dunn hit a single down the third base line, and Cabrera did not make an attempt at the ball. The Tigers removed Cabrera during the middle of the inning, and he left the field with a trainer. Don Kelly replaced the All-Star at third base.
Cabrera is in the midst of a second-straight MVP campaign, as he entered Monday hitting .359/.452/.668. Detroit has yet to announce an official diagnosis, but any long-term loss of Cabrera would be crippling as the Tigers chase their fourth straight AL Central crown.
