After passing concussion tests Friday, Alex Gordon is in the Kansas City Royals' lineup on Saturday, reports Dave Skretta of the Associated Press.
Alex Gordon injury: Royals LF returns to lineup after missing 2 games
Gordon was initially feared to have suffered a concussion, but tests came back negative.

Gordon will be playing left field and leading off for Kansas City as it takes on the Oakland Athletics.
Gordon, 29, missed two games after crashing into the outfield fence while chasing down a long fly ball Wednesday night. Gordon struck his head against a padded post, fell to the ground and was initially not able to get up. He later walked off the field under his own power.
The Royals reportedly feared he may have a concussion, but Friday’s tests showed no signs of such an ailment. Instead, Gordon’s injury was classified as a hip contusion.
Gordon has hit .292/.351/.426 with eight home runs and 46 RBI over 80 games this season.
