Even players eligible for the NL Final Vote want to see Yasiel Puig in the All-Star Game.

Both Gonzalez and Puig are eligible for the Final Vote, where the fans vote for the last roster spot on the All-Star team in each league. The first baseman lent his full support to Puig, telling the media:
“For me, personally, I want Puig to go. I’m voting for Puig...That’s what the fans want to see.”
Gonzalez did admit that he would want to go if he had never been to an All-Star game, but wants the rookie outfielder to enjoy the experience.
Puig has only appearened in 32 games this season heading into Monday, but has taken baseball by storm in that time, hitting .409/.437/.677. Gonzalez has helped lead the Dodgers offense the entire season, hitting .296/.348/.482.
