The Brewers activated star outfielder Ryan Braun from the disabled list Monday, reports Adam McCalvy of MLB.com.
Ryan Braun injury: Brewers star activated from DL
After being on pace to return earlier than expected, Ryan Braun will return even earlier.

In a corresponding move, the Brewers placed third baseman Aramis Ramirez on the disabled list with a sprained left knee.
Braun, who was originally supposed to return later in the week, had a change of plans after the sudden injury to Ramirez. Ramirez will sit out and rest his knee until after the All-Star break, which presumably led the team to bring Braun back a few days early.
Braun had planned to take a couple of batting practice sessions this week, and will still do so, but he expects to be in the lineup Tuesday against the Reds in all likelihood. The Brewers left fielder did not seem concerned about re-injuring his hand, telling McCalvy that a negative mindset would not help him in any way.
The playing time for Braun should involve him playing Tuesday, sitting Wednesday and then playing some of the series this weekend against the Diamondbacks.
Braun, 29, has hit .304 with an .890 OPS in 2013 for the Brewers.
