The Rangers and Angels are division rivals, but said rivalry has been pretty one-sided in 2013, given Los Angeles is in fourth place in the AL West and now 10 games back of the second-place Rangers. Still, it would have been nice for the Halos to play spoiler to Texas, given the Rangers were scuffling a bit and had slipped behind the Athletics in the race for the division title.

The Angels need a hug, you guys. Or maybe three.

That moment of playing spoiler was presented to the Angels in three consecutive games, but they failed to finish the job in each of them. Los Angeles lost to the Rangers not once, not twice, but three games in a row on walk-off home runs, courtesy Geovany Soto, Leonys Martin, and everyone's favorite Ranger, Adrian Beltre.
If you’re an Angels fan, you might want to avert your eyes, lest you relieve those moments. If not, however, here’s all three of them, as back-to-back-to-back as they were in reality, for your viewing (and schadenfreude, probably) pleasure:
The Rangers were not the first team to ever do this, but they are the first club to pull it off since 1999, so it’s been awhile. The Angels hope the next time takes that much longer.
