Former St. Louis Cardinal Jack Clark has been fired from his newly-found gig on WGNU 920 AM for his comments made about former Cardinal and current Angels first baseman Albert Pujols, according to a report in the St. Louis Dispatch.

After seven shows, Jack Clark has been dismissed by WGNU 920 AM following on-air accusations about Albert Pujols and PED use.

Clark, on-air, accused Pujols of using performance enhancing drugs. Clark claimed that Pujols’ former personal trainer Chris Mihlfeld told him that he “shot up” Pujols.
Pujols, who has been adamant against steroid use, fired back on Friday evening claiming he would sue WGNU and Clark for the comments made. Mihlfeld has also denied ever telling Jack Clark that he saw or gave Pujols any performance enhancing drugs.
“I’ve said time and time again that I would never take, or even consider taking, anything illegal,” Pujols said via a release from his agency, MVP Sports Group. “I’ve been tested hundreds of times throughout my career and never once have I tested positive. It is irresponsible and reckless for Jack Clark to have falsely accused me of using PEDs. My faith in Jesus Christ, and my respect for this game are too important to me. I would never be able to look my wife or kids in the eye if I had done what this man is accusing me of.”
