Boston Red Sox relief pitcher Franklin Morales will return to the team on Saturday, according to WEEI's Rob Bradford, after missing the last seven weeks with a pectoral injury. The Red Sox will send reliever Pedro Beato to Triple-A Pawtucket in a corresponding move.
Red Sox activate Franklin Morales, send Pedro Beato to Triple-A
The Red Sox got one of their better relievers back on Saturday.

Morales last pitched on June 22, allowing four runs on five hits in 2 ⅓ innings in a loss to the Detroit Tigers. He owns a 7.30 ERA in six appearances this season after starting the year on the disabled list due to seemingly-related injury issues.
The 27-year-old Venezuelan has been steady in Boston's bullpen since arriving in a trade from the Colorado Rockies early in the 2011 season, striking out nearly a batter per inning en route to a sub-4.00 ERA.
Beato posted a 3.60 ERA in 10 innings of work for the Red Sox this season, despite only striking out 4.5 batters per nine innings.
