Oakland Athletics outfielder Josh Reddick had to leave Sunday's game against the Baltimore Orioles after re-injuring his right wrist, reports John Hickey of the San Jose Mercury News.
Josh Reddick injury: Oakland OF leaves game after re-injuring wrist
Reddick has been hampered by a right wrist injury for most of the season.

Reddick aggravated his wrist striking out in the top of the sixth inning. Nate Freiman replaced Reddick in the lineup, moving Brandon Moss from first base to right field.
The outfielder has been bothered by the wrist injury since the second week of the season after sliding into a wall against the Houston Astros trying to catch a foul ball. The injury forced Reddick to spend some time on the disabled list in May, and has hampered him at the plate; he entered Sunday batting .215/.299/.365.
Reddick underwent an MRI and X-ray on Wednesday after he hurt his wrist playing defense, but was able to swing without feeling pain, starting for Oakland on Saturday and Sunday. There is no timetable for an eventual return.
The Athletics have a few options if Reddick is forced to spend time on the DL. The team could recall either Michael Choice or Michael Taylor from Triple-A to play right field. Oakland could also promote Daric Barton and shift Moss to right full-time.
