Texas Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz and 11 others players who will receive suspensions Monday are not expected to appeal the suspensions and will begin serving their 50-game bans immediately, reports Jon Heyman of CBS Sports.
Biogenesis: Nelson Cruz, 11 others expected to accept suspensions
Alex Rodriguez is the only player linked to the Biogensis scandal who is expected to file an appeal.

The outfielder has been non-committal about his decision, but will apparently accept the penalty. If Cruz and Tigers shortstop Jhonny Peralta begin serving their suspensions immediately they will be eligible to return during the post-season if their respective teams qualify.
Mariners catcher Jesus Montero, Padres shortstop Everth Cabrera, Yankees catcher Francisco Cervelli and four minor-leaguers will also accept their suspensions, according to Heyman. At least three other unidentified players will also receive punishment.
Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez is the only player expected to fight his suspension. MLB will reportedly give Rodriguez a 214-game ban, but Rodriguez will immediately file an appeal so he can play Monday night against the Chicago White Sox.
