There are five letters in the team name "Twins." This presents a problem when only four chest-painting-enthusiast buddies are set to attend a Minnesota Twins game, as it leaves them a single painted-chest short of spelling perfection. Not to worry, though: these men are artists, and they'll simply make a friend!
Here is a man with a fish on his helmet and a cardboard friend in his hand
You can’t spell “Twins” without a cardboard W.

Look at the attention to detail here! The cardboard “W” pal has painted-on cargo shorts with a belt, and they didn’t just slap a face on him, but also gave him hair and even ears. Cute, right?
Sadly, there is no fifth friend. This cardboard cutout isn’t here for just one game, and he’s no stand-in -- he’s “I’s” best friend and closest confidant. “I” knows how ridiculous it all is, to befriend inanimate cardboard -- you can see it on his face as he turns to say something to “W” about the game before realizing he’s in public, and that he nearly let his secret become known.
What else was he supposed to do, though? The helmet fish hasn’t spoken to him in years.
