Alex Rodriguez and the Major League Baseball Players' Association have formally filed an appeal of MLB's decision to suspend Rodriguez for 211 games as a result of the league's investigation into the Biogenesis anti-aging clinic, according to reports. Rodriguez was one of 14 players, including Ryan Braun, to earn suspensions, but is the only who has not yet accepted the league's decision.

Per Erik Boland of New York Newsday, Rodriguez said “I have no reaction to that” when asked for his response to the filing.
Rodriguez's suspension is stayed pending the results of his appeal. As a result, he will likely remain in the New York Yankees' lineup for the time being. Rodriguez played for the first time this season against the Chicago White Sox on Monday, after sitting out most of the season while recovering from hip surgery.
Rodriguez took plenty of abuse from White Sox fans during his two games played at U.S. Cellular Field. He will play at home for the first time since his suspension was announced when the Yankees begin a three-game home stand against the Detroit Tigers on Friday.
