Evan Longoria’s homer gives Rays 3-0 lead

Evan Longoria hit a two-run home run in the top of the third inning to extend the Tampa Bay Rays' lead over the Texas Rangers in the American League Tiebreaker to 3-0.

Desmond Jennings led off the inning with a walk against Rangers starter Martin Perez. After Perez bounced back to retire the next two hitters, Longoria took a pitch the opposite way and over the right-center field wall.
