David DeJesus, who entered the game as a pinch hitter in the top of the sixth inning, laced a run-scoring double down the right field line to give the Tampa Bay Rays a 4-1 lead over the Texas Rangers in the American League tiebreaker game on Monday.

Evan Longoria doubled with one out and moved to third base on Delmon Young's groundout. That paved the way for DeJesus, who subbed in for Sean Rodriguez and came through with the big hit.
