Minnesota Twins outfield prospect Byron Buxton continues to earn top accolades this offseason. Less than a week after being named baseball's top prospect by MLB.com, Buxton received the same honor from ESPN's Keith Law, who released his top-100 list Wednesday.

The Twins come in with two of the top-10 prospects while three teams are represented by seven of their players.

Buxton, who turned 20 in December, split the 2013 season between Class-A and High-A. Overall, he hit .334/.424/.520 with 12 home runs and 55 stolen bases. He is considered to be among the most physically gifted prospects in baseball and, according to Law, could be a perennial MVP candidate for the Twins moving forward.

Rounding out the top five on Law's list are Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts, Athletics shortstop Addison Russell, Astros shortstop Carlos Correa and Cardinals outfielder Oscar Taveras. Both Bogaerts and Taveras are expected to receive substantial major league playing time in 2014, as could Russell.
Law ranked Houston's farm system tops in baseball Tuesday. Along with Correa they have pitcher Mark Appel checking in at No. 11, outfielder George Springer at 19, pitcher Mike Foltynewicz at 70, first baseman Jonathan Singleton at 78, outfielder Delino DeShields at 80, and pitcher Vincent Velasquez at 82.
The Twins, with Buxton No. 1 and shortstop Miguel Sano at No. 8, were the only team with two prospects in the top-10.
The Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Angels were the only two teams to not have a prospect appear in Law's top 100.
