Korean pitcher Suk-min Yoon has drawn interest from “many teams,” and agent Scott Boras says “we’ll know more in 10 days” about his client’s future, as Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe reports.

After Dodgers lefty Hyun-jin Ryu made the transition to MLB, Yoon became the ace of the Korea Baseball Organization -- although he struggled to some extent in 2013 due to a shoulder injury.
He posted a 4.16 ERA in 11 starts, and a 3.60 ERA in 19 relief appearances. Yoon was good enough to win the league MVP award in 2011 (while Ryu was still there), putting up a 2.45 ERA, striking out more than one batter an inning, and walking just 2.3 per nine innings in 172⅓ frames. Yoon followed that up with a 3.12 ERA, and similar peripherals through 153 innings in 2012.
He's one of the youngest pitchers remaining on the market, and he won't require a posting fee or the forfeiture of a draft pick as an outright international free agent. The Giants and Twins have also been linked to Yoon in rumors. He's said to have received as many as four offers, and is considering two.
He would presumably assume a role in the bullpen with Red Sox, since the team already has several options for the rotation. He could serve as a reliever in the majors thanks to some experience in the KBO as a closer, and Boston could always slot him into the rotation if needed.
