The Giants have come to Pittsburgh to take on the Pirates in the National League’s Wild Card game. Edinson Volquez is taking the mound for the Bucs while Madison Bumgarner steps in to try to keep the Giants’ season alive, and now we know who these two will be facing.

These teams only have one chance to get this right before one of them heads home until 2015.

There were concerns he might not be able to thanks to his hamstring, and that it would diminish the Pirates’ balanced offensive attack, but that’s seemingly irrelevant now. Gaby Sanchez gets the nod ahead of Ike Davis, as Bumgarner is a lefty -- that gives the Pirates a pinch-hit option off the bench for later.
As for who Volquez will be facing on the San Francisco side:
