One of the biggest plays of Game 1 of the ALCS was in the seventh inning, when Royals speedy pinch runner Jarrod Dyson was thrown out trying to steal second base, though it looked like Dyson may have been forced off the bag by Orioles second baseman Jonathan Schoop.

Dyson stole 36 bases in 43 attempts (83.9 percent) in the regular season, including 26 of 31 (83.9 percent) when trying for second base.
The play happened with no outs in a 5-5 tie, and caught the eye of a former major leaguer.
