Orioles vs. Royals live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch 2014 ALCS Game 3 online
Following a rainout on Monday, the Orioles and Royals will play Game 3 of the ALCS on Tuesday with Baltimore needing a victory to avoid an 0-3 deficit.

Jeremy Guthrie was supposed to take the mound for the Royals in Game 3 of the ALCS on Monday. He will still toe the rubber in Game 3, but his start got pushed back a day due to heavy rain. The rain hit well before first pitch and didn't let up, leading MLB to postpone the game until Tuesday. It's expected to be a cold, windy night in Kansas City, but rain isn't forecasted to be a factor.
While the impact the delay has on starting pitchers remains to be seen, nothing will change in Game 3. Guthrie is still scheduled to pitch for Kansas City while Wei-Yin Chen will take the mound for Baltimore as planned. There is a chance the starters for Game 4 could change, but that's currently an afterthought. The Orioles could use a solid start from the 29-year-old Chen, who was shelled in his only start of the American League Division Series against Detroit. He allowed five runs in 3⅔ innings against the Tigers, but the O's still won the game. Although Baltimore trails 2-0, Chen isn't putting any extra pressure on his shoulders.
“For me, I want to keep it simple. It doesn’t matter to me whether we’re ahead or behind,” said Chen, via the Baltimore Sun. “My job is to go out and pitch a good game. It doesn’t change whether it’s 0-2 or 2-0.”
ALCS Game 4
The 35-year-old Guthrie will make the first postseason appearance of his career and he will do it against a team he once pitched for. Guthrie spent five seasons with Baltimore before leaving in 2012. He's been a solid back-of-the-rotation starter for the Royals, and he'll be challenged by a very solid Baltimore lineup, led by Nelson Cruz. Although the Orioles dropped the first two games of the series, Baltimore did score 10 combined runs. Cruz is having an excellent postseason and is hitting .444 against Kansas City with a pair of RBI. Adam Jones and Alejandro De Aza have also hit well in the series for Baltimore.
Kansas City has stolen just one base in the ALCS after swiping five in a three-game sweep of the Angels in the ALDS. Despite not running as much, the Royals haven't had any issues scoring runs. The Royals scored 14 runs in the first two games, including five in the ninth inning or later. Four home runs, including two from Mike Moustakas, have helped power the Kansas City offense.
If Game 3 plays out similar to the first two of the series, it could come down to the bullpens. The Kansas City bullpen has allowed just two earned runs in 8⅓ innings this series. Baltimore’s bullpen hasn’t had the same success, allowing five earned runs in 10⅓ innings.
