The San Francisco Giants are one win away from their third World Series title in five years, but the Kansas City Royals can at least take solace in the series returning to Kauffman Stadium for Game 6 on Tuesday night.

After dropping the first game in San Francisco, the Giants took control of the series with back-to-back victories in Games 4 and 5. Their lineup had a big offensive performance in Game 4 before Madison Bumgarner added to his dominant postseason with a shutout in Game 5. The Royals now need to win the final two games at home to finish off their storybook October run on the right note.

Kansas City can be optimistic about handing the ball to Yordano Ventura for Game 6. Ventura has been the club's best starter this postseason and pitched well against the Giants in his first outing of the series back in Game 2. The right-hander held San Francisco to two runs, scattering eight hits and striking out two over 5⅓ innings. The 23-year-old Dominican native has been one of the stars of this postseason, showing off an impressive arsenal buttressed by a fastball that can reach triple-digits.

The Royals offense can also look forward to facing someone other than Bumgarner. Veteran righty Jake Peavy will get the start for the Giants after an up-and-down performance in his first outing of the World Series. Peavy pitched five innings in Game 2, surrendering six hits and four runs. In three outings this October, Peavy has posted a 3.68 ERA but has struck out just six batters while walking eight.

First pitch is scheduled for 8:07 p.m. ET on Tuesday night. The game can be watched on FOX, streamed online with MLB.tv, or seen via the Fox Sports Go app. The game will be broadcast on the radio nationally by ESPN Radio.
