Everyone loves a video review in the playoffs! Except for the team it hurts, anyway. Orioles' leadoff hitter Nick Markakis went deep, sort of, by hitting a fly ball that bounced off of the top of the outfield wall. Apparently, in Birdland*, that's a homer.
Nick Markakis barely hit this home run, but it’s legal in Camden
Thanks to the ground rules at Orioles Park at Camden Yards, the O’s got a Markakis homer.

The umpires checked it out, determined that it landed at just the right spot to be declared a homer at Camden Yards, and the Orioles were up 2-0, just like that.
Well, temporarily, anyway, since the Tigers strung together five consecutive hits in the next half-inning, including back-to-back homers, to go up 5-2 and end Chen’s day. Kevin Gausman is now in for the Orioles.
