Korean left-hander Hyeon-jong Yang will be posted by the Kia Tigers next week, according to Mark Feinsand of the New York Daily News.
Korean LHP Hyeon-jong Yang will be posted Monday, per report
Yang owns a 4.33 ERA in eight KBO seasons.

Beginning on Nov. 17, major league teams will have four days to post bids for Yang, who was the 2014 winner of the Korean Baseball Organization’s version of the Cy Young award. If Kia decides to accept, the winning bidder will have 30 days to work out a deal with Yang.
The 26-year-old KBO veteran posted a 4.25 ERA with 157 strikeouts and 73 walks in 165 innings for Kia. Yang dealt with major walk issues for the first six years of his career but has recently improved in that area. After walking 5.1 batters per nine innings from 2007 through 2012, Yang surrendered only 3.9 free passes per nine in 2013 and 2014. That’s still a high number, but also one that is complemented a lot better by his strikeout rate, which has approached a batter per inning over the pas two seasons.
Yang's fastball sits between 92 and 95 mph and is complemented by three secondary pitches, a scout told Feinsand. He is the second Korean pitcher to be posted this offseason, joining SK Wyverns southpaw Kwang-hyun Kim, to whom the Padres won exclusive negotiating rights with a $2 million bid.
