Orioles’ ballgirl fields fair ball

It happens every now and again. Instinct kicks in, and the ballgirl fields a ball that is not foul, even if that’s where she picked it up:

It’s not number 14’s fault, though. I blame the third base umpire, as that was a pretty nonchalant call of fair ball, the kind you would see on a foul ball where it doesn’t matter if someone misses the call because the play is over before it began, anyway:
