Travis Snider tried to catch a baseball with his mouth

Thom Brennaman said it best after seeing Travis Snider get hit in the face with a baseball: “Golly dang.”

Golly dang is right. To add insult to literal injury, the play was originally ruled a foul ball. After replay, it was determined that Snider’s face was in fair territory, and thus a double.
