This morning's daily dose of Puigdom involves the man himself, as Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig straight-up murdered a baseball on Tuesday night against the Padres and Ian Kennedy:
The Daily Puig: Yasiel Puig murdered a baseball
The Dodgers outfielder debuts in his eponymous column after flat-out killing a baseball.

Wait a second, zoom and enhance on that shot:
That thing was way up in the zone, at Puig’s chest, and he just manhandled it. It only traveled 392 feet because the stadium got in the way, but the 93 mile per hour fastball went the other direction at 104 according to Hit Tracker, and was nearly 120 feet in the air thanks to that serious cut Puig put on it. You probably don’t need either myself or Hit Tracker to tell you that this homer would have left all 30 major-league parks.
Even mild-mannered Dodgers announcer and legend Vin Scully claimed Puig “killed it.” If you’d like to combine watching Puig smash with the amazement of Vin Scully and his voice, then we have a present for you.
