The Dodgers hosted “Korea Night” in Chavez Ravine on Wednesday, giving international sensation Yasiel Puig the chance to meet with someone even more popular than he is: Bae Suzy, the South Korean idol, singer, actress, dancer, and so on -- if it’s entertainment, she’s thrived in it.
The Daily Puig: Yasiel Puig and Bae Suzy are best friends now
The Dodgers hosted Korea Night in Los Angeles, and Puig made a new friend.
I choose to believe every word of this tweet from the official Dodgers’ account about the state of Puig and Bae Suzy’s relationship, too:
Yasiel Puig and @missA_suzy become best friends: pic.twitter.com/tSyOXXSKtN
— Los Angeles Dodgers (@Dodgers) May 29, 2014 The very best of friends. Best at what they do in their fields, a friendship borne out of mutual respect and admiration for their shared excellence, and not just a cool photoshoot arranged by representatives of both people. Do you hear me, it was not that at all I am not listening to you.
Best. Friends.
The Dodgers also had South Korean musician Ali -- described as “the R&B soul of Korea” in this video -- perform the National Anthem...
...and had the X-Plore Taekwondo Demo Team perform as well:
You don’t know how badly I wanted Yasiel Puig to come running out to kick one of those boards.
