Chisenhall belted three home runs at Globe Life Park in Arlington, the first off Texas starter Nick Martinez and the last two against reliever Scott Baker. Five different Cleveland hitters notched multiple hits in the contest as the Indians scored 17 runs off a patchwork and injury-riddled Rangers pitching staff.

Chisenhall, for his part, went 5-for-5 on the night, adding a single and a double to his three long balls, while driving in nine runs all by himself.
What Chisenhall did -- three home runs, five hits, nine RBIs -- has only been done four times in the past 100 years and not since Fred Lynn of the Red Sox did so in 1975.
A former top prospect, Chisenhall has had a big year in 2014 after three disappointing seasons for the Indians. The 25-year-old is now batting .385/.429/.615 with seven home runs and 16 doubles through 51 games this season.
Chisenhall's nine RBI were the most for any MLB player in a single game this season, topping Ryan Braun's previous high of seven on April 8 against the Phillies. Braun also hit three home runs in that game.
Chisenhall came just one RBI short of driving in 10 runs, which would have put him in exclusive company. Only 12 MLB players have ever driven in 10 runs in one game, the last being Garret Anderson in August 2007. No MLB player has amassed nine RBI in a single game since Carlos Delgado did back in June 2008 as a member of the Mets.
