MLB All-Star Game 2014 selection show: Time, TV schedule and more

It has come time once again to announce the rosters for the MLB All-Star. You can begin preparing your All-Star snub #HotTakes starting Sunday night.

With balloting having ended on Thursday, the votes are tabulated and Sunday is the night to find out who will be representing their respective leagues at the 2014 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday.

The All-Star Selection Show will feature Karl Ravech, Hall of Famer Barry Larkin and Tim Kurkjian of ESPN announcing all 17 fan-elected starters and 32 manager-and-player-selected pitchers and reserves for the game.

The American Leauge team -- managed by defending AL-pennant winner John Farrell of the Boston Red Sox -- will have nine elected starters, while the National League team -- managed by the defending NL champion St. Louis Cardinals' skipper Mike Matheny -- will feature eight. With the game being played in the home park of the Twins, an AL team, the designated hitter will be in the line-up but Matheny and the NL "Player Ballot" choices will determine who plays the role for the Senior Circuit.

Once the rosters have been announced, fans can start choosing the final player for each League’s 34-man roster via the 2014 All-Star Game MLB.com Final Vote. Fans will select a list of five players from each league, and will be able to make their selections on MLB.com, club sites and their mobile phones.

All of this starts at 7 p.m. ET and will precede the Tampa Bay Rays against the Detroit Tigers from Comerica Park in Detroit on Sunday Night Baseball.
