Mike Minor has no-hitter through 7 innings against the Reds
Braves pitcher Mike Minor is vying to become the first Atlanta pitcher with a no-hitter in 20 years.

Minor has four strikeouts and three walks in his seven scoreless innings, throwing 89 pitches. The left-hander retired the first 10 batters of the game before issuing a walk to Todd Frazier with one out in the fourth inning. Minor walked one batter in each of the fourth, fifth and sixth innings.
The last no-hitter by a Braves pitcher was 20 years ago, when Kent Mercker no-hit the Dodgers on April 8, 1994 in Los Angeles.
It has been a rough season for Minor, who entered Friday at 5-8 with a 5.16 ERA in 19 starts, including a 6.04 ERA in five starts since the All-Star break.
There has only been one no-hitter at Great American Ball Park, the hitter-friendly park which opened in 2003. Reds starter Homer Bailey no-hit the Giants on July 2, 2013.
