For the second consecutive day, a rematch of the 2012 World Series headlines the MLB schedule. While the game Friday didn't exactly live up to the hype -- an 8-2 Giants victory interrupted by rain -- Saturday's match-up between Madison Bumgarner and David Price is almost guaranteed to give FOX its money's worth as the nationally televised game alongside the Orioles and Rays.
Saturday MLB viewing guide: David Price, Madison Bumgarner face off in Detroit
A battle between former Cy Young winner David Price and possible future Cy Young winner Madison Bumgarner marks the second consecutive day the Giants and Tigers have been center stage in MLB.

The result of the contest may have massive implications on the playoff hopes of each team. The Tigers in particular have seen their playoffs odds drop to a coin flip as they've fallen behind the Royals in the AL Central and are butting up against the Mariners for the final Wild Card spot.
The Giants are much more likely to make the playoffs, with a 90.7 percent chance of reaching October. However, they would much rather pass the Dodgers in the NL West than pin their hopes on a single game by settling for the Wild Card.
Bumgarner was hot during August after stumbling through July, posting a 4-1 record with a 1.57 ERA. Price struggled towards the end of the month and gave up eight runs on Aug. 27 before redeeming himself on Monday with eight strikeouts and just one earned run in seven frames.
