175 players file for salary arbitration

Salary arbitration negotiations will soon begin after 175 Major League Baseball players officially filed for arbitration on Tuesday.

Clubs will exchange salary figures with players on Friday. In any case where the two sides don’t reach an agreement, arbitration hearings for those cases will be held in front of a three-person panel between Feb. 1 and Feb. 20. Last season, only three cases reached the hearing phase, and that came after a 2013 in which no cases went to hearing, the first time in 40-plus years that every player who filed avoided arbitration.

Here are all the players to file for salary arbitration on Tuesday, team-by-team:

American League
